Game - The R.E.D Album, the best one or the worst one ??

Yeah everybody who's interested in rap music know him ... One of the most controversial persons in industry, guy who had beefs with 50 Cent,G-Unit, Jay-Z, Joe Budden, Yukomoth and many more ... but right now not about that, let's concentrate on subject which is his 4th studio release called The R.E.D Album.

Game on R.E.D which is narrated by Dr.Dre, proven us that he is the real King of The West Coast, of course we could expect something more after his absolutely brilliant mixtapes which he feed us with, while we were waiting for his latest piece of work, but we have to remember that if we talking about official releases there is something called record label which usually doesn't let artist release what they want, from obvious reasons which is ... sales. But still we received quite solid piece of music from The Black Wall Street leader.

Like I said before R.E.D is narrated by Dr.Dre and is taking us for a travel trough Game's life from early beginning till now. The story of his life is hard, but what we could expect nothing else from Compton G.

Best tracks on album according to me are:

2. City (with new West Coast generation star Kendrick Lamar showing his skills at the end of track where he spits on fire A Capella),you can check this track on YouTube under :

3. Drug Test (brilliant beat from DJ Khalil, and absoilutely unique flow from Dr.Dre only track he appears as musician)
5. Red Nation (hit single which includes chorus hook form Lil Wayne, and was banned by MTV. Game on this tracks show his lyrical skills and flows on great beat made by Cool & Dre, where they used legendary Zombie Nation- Kenkraft 400 sample )

8. Ricky (best track on album, where they used sample from Spike Lee's movie " Boyz N' The Hood ")
10. Heavy Artillery (clasic gangsta track with incredible beat and good featuring from Rick Ross, unfortunately second featuring is destroying view of this track as you can hear Beanie Sigel just don't have enough skills to match with Ross, not talking about Game)
15. Pot of Gold (second single from R.E.D with amazing acoustic guitar sample, and great chorus made by Chris Brown). You can watch video to this track under.

18. Born In The Trap (briliant lyrics and flow from Game , and even better beat made by legendary DJ Premier)
19. Mamma Knows (masterpiece created by Pharell which features Nelly Furtado, and Game which sounds like NAS on this track)

R.E.D is weaker than all of his previous albums, but it doesn't mean it's bad... I think we can call it different . Game shown us on this album how he improved as an MC from times of "Documentary", and his mature lyrics (not in all tracks) are proven me that he is one of the best rappers right now.

As a curiosity I will tell that Game in one of his latest interviews stated that his favourite track on R.E.D is "Martians vs. Goblins",where he is getting dissed on his own track by Tyler the Creator.

For me this album is 7/10, unfortunately not all guests (and it's quite a lot of them) that Game invited for this album managed to achieve same high level as "Chuck Taylor", but still their mistakes (or lack of skills) are covered by brilliant job done by producers featured on this release. Sound good ?? roll a big blunt, smoke it, and check it by yourself by having travel trough Game's life on R.E.D.
